Constellation Chaos

Traverse space while dodging enemy lasers and constellation lasers, collect upgrades and upgrade your ship to your liking. Still in development. Plays with mouse and keyboard. On the title screen, press Enter to select Start Game. 

Constellations damage your health bar, enemy lasers damage your health bar. Collecting upgrades (green arrows) allows you to select a stat to upgrade by clicking it. Upgrading survivability also heals you for 50% of your health. Every 300 seconds you progress to the next stage, where enemy stats are increased significantly. Collect as many upgrades as you can and see if you can keep up with the stages!

Controls are 
WASD to move
QE to rotate camera
F to toggle fullscreen
T to toggle auto-fire
X to toggle centering
C to toggle CRT-effect (This one is important if the game is running at <60fps)
Arrow up/down to adjust volume, right arrow to skip song
Mouse click to fire. 

Features an hour-long soundtrack by White Bat Audio!

I recently added a features that dynamically changes how detailed the constellations are and how many decorative background stars there are based on the current FPS. The game is made using pygame! I plan on adding more features and making gameplay a little more in-depth.
